The municipality of Squamish – one of Canada’s most picturesque – was in dire need of improvements for many of its systems. Its motto – “hardwired for adventure” – hints at a strong appreciation of the technological infrastructure that supports its residents’ ability to safely enjoy its stunning scenery and unique culture.
But to be truly “hardwired” for success, its local network and metropolitan infrastructure needed to be modernized, updated, and audited to ensure that its residents could get the best out of their special home.
Based on a strong background in management and advisory in the IT sphere, Mindfield entered the project to provide consulting and strategy on the municipality’s outdated IT infrastructure: from a network level all the way up to software solutions.
Above all, the municipality needed to lower costs: running unchanged for many years, the IT bill was financially unsustainable. The problem was clear, but the solution would take exceptional experience and application to address efficiently. Enter Mindfield Consulting.
